(2a) Social Engine
Our website uses a platform called SocialEngine. When you log in, this software will place a cookie in your browser, allowing us to keep you logged in and identify you on each screen (i.e. keeps you logged in). This data is then returned each time you link to a new page or submit a form, and is use to link your posts together. It's also used to ensure privacy and protection of personal messages, and to track which posts you have read so that you can make use of facilities such as "Updates".

en4_install – used to track login state for the package manager
en4_language – stores the language chosen
en4_locale – stores the locale chosen
en4_maint_code – stores the admin maintenance passcode
theme – stores the chosen site theme
