Tip when ever digging into the ground to seek advise on buried services, SCAN the area you are digging into; always ask the land owners permission before penetrating the ground surface. Always consider raised flower-beds to avoid contact with buried services. Health and Safety week advice.

in the Lancs and Cumbria area, Network Rail would like to invite you to our
Community Rail Event:
On 14 th July, the Network Rail Route Stakeholder team are
hosting a Community Rail Roadshow Event in the Old Court Room, The Courts,
Carlisle (English Street, CA3 8NA), between.10.00 – 14.00.
The event will be a drop in session with
representatives from ACORP, DFT, BTP, Northern, TPE, Network Rail Project /
Communication and Community safety team available to answer your questions. Karen Hornby, Network
Rail’s Route Stakeholder Manager and Dr Karen Booth, Interim Communities and
Sustainability Director for Arriva Rail North, will be giving a short address
at, 10.30, 11:30 and 13.00.
